Prague, Czech Republic — On June 5th, 2017, SBC, CzechInvest and Křižovatka held an educational session for Wheaton College students within international Capstone Programs. The session was held at prestigious venue ERBIA Congress Centrum located on the top floor of City Tower — Prague's tallest office building located in Pankrác business district.

The session was opened by CzechInvest representatives who introduced students to Czech Republic, its history, industries and CzechInvest initiatives to support economic growth. After the presentation, students and faculty members participated in a Q&A session with CzechInvest representative to learn more about the country and the region.

After a short break, Mr. Alexander Suvorov, Managing Director at SBC, shared his experience and views on entrepreneurship, private enterprise, investments and the Private Equity industry in particular. Students learned about fundamental business concepts and what aspects to consider in starting a new business venture. Same as with presentation by CzechInvest, Mr. Suvorov answered questions on specifics of investment climate in the Czech Republic.

The final presentation was by Mr. Evgeny Frolov, CEO at Křížovatka Co-working. The presentation covered topics of innovation environment in the CEE region and Czech Republic specifically: its benefits and shortcomings and how the region compares to other innovation-oriented centers around the world.

SBC compiled a short video to memorialize this event.
